- Albany Airport (ALB is the airport code) is the closest airport,
- Newark (EWR) is a bigger hub. The drive is 30 min from ALB, or approx. 3 hours from EWR.
- From ALB – Take Interstate 87 North to Exit 15, left at the traffic light off the exit onto route 50 (see map below). Proceed west on 50 through 5 traffic lights. At the 5th light, bear right onto Van Dam Street. We are number 77 in an old stone building after the first traffic light that is on Van Dam.
- From EWR – Take Interstate 78 West, to Route 24 WEST, to Interstate 287 North. Take Interstate 287 North till it joins Interstate 87. Take Interstate 87 NORTH to Albany at exit 24 (Note exit numbers RESET to 1 at this point on 87, don’t ask us why, we have no clue). From this point, follow the From ALB directions above.

Via Train from New York City:
Amtrak leaves Penn Station in New York City and the station in Saratoga is about 1 mile from the office. The Amtrak line that you want to take is the “Adirondack”. Consult Amtrak’s web pages for schedules. The station in Saratoga is station code SAR. The Amtrak web page says the duration for the train ride is 3 hours and 32 minutes. The ride is very nice as you travel along the Hudson river. At the time of this writing, there appear to be 2 trains north, one at 7:45 and one at 14:45.
Via Bus from Albany:
Adirondack Trailways offers occasional bus service directly from the Albany airport to Saratoga for about $10 one way. More information on Trailways and other busses can be found here at the airport’s web site: Albany Airport Bus Information The Trailways bus station in Saragota is located at 153 S. Broadway, Rte. 9 and is about 1 mile from the office.
