Our Experience

Our team uses reliable systems to send data to our main center. Autonomous stations send real-time data to New York. This center has a strong internet connection, backup servers, and power. Data is processed automatically. Experienced Seismologists at ISTI can review and analyze it further. Moreover, ISTI's seismologists provide advanced products. These include focal mechanisms, moment tensors, shear-wave splitting studies, full waveform inversion, double-difference earthquake locations, and seismic tomography.

Example Station

ISTI-installed induced systems rely on a 3-component, 10s borehole/posthole sensor. We tailor solutions to meet specific Magnitude of Completeness requirements, monitoring duration, and operational frequency. Options include surface or shallow borehole stations with data subscriptions to existing private arrays, public station access, dedicated array installation, or a combination of these approaches.
