What we are looking for:

Requirements

  • Intimate knowledge of Python, JavaScript

  • Full Stack Web Development experience

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Experience with Agile development/Scrum

  • Knowledge of OOD

  • Database: SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, mySQL, etc.)

Desirable:

  • C/C++

  • Experience with developing in both web and Linux/Unix environments

  • Independently motivated

  • Problem solver

  • Experience with test driven development

  • Javascript

Seismic Sales

ISTI is developing a growing Seismic Operations Group for providing seismic monitoring services and science to the operators of Carbon Sequestration Projects, Geothermal Energy Operations, and other Energy industry injection operations. Induced Seismicity is a concern in each of these areas and ISTI has a premier solution which is customer focused on providing top-notch science and services. We are looking for a sales associate to join our team to help grow and develop our business plan in this domain. 

This position is available for remote work, however our main office is in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Salary: commensurate with experience, $50K to $100K. Additional commission based compensation for signed contracts. 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience writing proposals and quotations

  • Experience with seismic software, systems, or instrumentation 

  • Experience attending trade shows/conferences

  • Experience with marketing

Required qualifications:

  • Geoscience background (degree in Geology or Geophysics or other related Earth Science)

  • Previous Sales experience

  • Use of CRM tools

  • Ability to travel to customers and conferences as needed

  • US citizen or permanent resident
