ISTI is an international, privately-held company incorporated in 1998 in the state of New York. We are known for our extensive experience in earthquake, tsunami, and volcano monitoring; early warning systems; nuclear test and proliferation analysis; and mining and energy harvesting. Our software development and systems integration expertise originated from the geophysical research arena (primarily Seismology, Exploration Geophysics, and Geochemistry) and has broadened into engineering and other scientific applications.

We are the leading provider of open source software solutions in the field of Earthquake Seismology and provide custom solutions for data acquisition, control software, and analysis and visualization systems using public-domain packages, commercial suites, and in-house software. We have developed applications in many scientific fields, including Astronomy, Infrasound, Hydroacoustics, Geomagnetics, Radionuclide, and Atmospheric sciences.

ISTI’s team regularly attends and shares our research and engineering experience at geoscience meetings related to earthquakes, including IRIS/UNAVCO, American Geophysical Union annual meeting, Society for Exploration Geophysics annual meeting, SEG Microseismic workshops, EAGE, EGU, IUGG, ESC, etc. We participate and present at nuclear physics conferences that focus on radionuclide detection and analysis.

We maintain offices in New York and Vienna, Austria.
