GeoTiny20

Overview

GEOtiny20 Digital Seismometer (with 20sec sensor) is a compact, miniature digital seismometer that integrates three seismic and three acceleration channels. It supports a high-resolution 24-bit digitizer, embedded Linux OS, and GPS or NTP timing. The SeedLink server ensures reliable, real-time data telemetry, while large storage volume ensures a long period of local data recording. The instrument has very low power consumption, so a small 12V DC battery can power it. Due to its small size, it provides the ability to be buried underground.

+ Features

  • 3 component seismic sensor
  • Low power consumption
  • Cost affordable design
  • Only 130mm d/155mm h
  • Integrated 24-bit digitizer
  • Embedded SeedLink server
  • Real-time telemetry and local storage
  • MiniSEED data format
  • Linux open-source OS
  • Web interface menu
  • SSH, SFTP, Telnet
  • Modular seismic sensor design
  • Near broadband sensor 20 s to 50 Hz
  • Customized sensor corner frequency
  • High sensitivity 1500 V/m/s
  • Operation Range: -20 +70 °C
  • Waterproof IP67 aluminum case

GEOTiny!

Overview

GEOtiny! is a compact, miniature digital seismometer that integrates three seismic and three acceleration channels. It supports a high-resolution 24-bit digitizer, embedded Linux OS, and GPS or NTP timing. The SeedLink server ensures reliable, real-time data telemetry, while large storage volume ensures long period, local data recording. The instrument has very low power consumption, so a small 12V DC battery can power it. Due to its small size, it provides the ability to be buried underground. A modular sensor interface allows the user to select between various sensor types and frequency corners (10sec, 5sec, 2sec, 1sec, 2Hz, 4,5Hz), thus covering the short period and wideband seismic range. Design simplicity is a great advantage and is reflected in the price, which is only a fraction of the cost of common commercial seismometers. The user can deploy 100% more units than by using common seismometers at the same price.
